At the age of 7, he wrote his first poem, and at just 16, Anubhav made his mark in the literary world with the publication of his poetry book, Whispers of Anubhav. He also became one of the youngest researchers to have two papers published in renowned academic journals.

His early accomplishments in sustainability, academia, and social service have set a remarkable precedent. Anubhav’s passion for environmental sustainability led to the creation of the GreenGuard Alliance, a pioneering initiative under which he contributed to a social forestry project that successfully planted over 10,000 trees in Bharuch, Gujarat. His work earned him recognition from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Government of India—a letter of appreciation, a rare honor for anyone.

Receiving recognition from the Ministry underscores his exceptional contribution to India’s environmental efforts. His passion for data science blends seamlessly with his love for the environment, inspiring him to work on projects like Sustainability Data Trackers and predictive models.

In addition to his sustainability work, he founded Project Anubhav, an initiative deeply rooted in his personal philosophy of service. Reflecting the meaning of his name, “Anubhav”—which translates to “experience”—the project was designed to give back to the community by fostering a culture of service and empathy. Through Project Anubhav, he mobilized students to volunteer their time and experience the art of giving by teaching children who lacked access to quality education. These children were the kids of public transport drivers, creating a touching, full-circle moment as volunteers helped the children of the very drivers who brought them to school every day. This initiative is a testament to his leadership and social awareness.

Anubhav’s leadership extended beyond his initiatives. At R.N. Podar School, Mumbai, he held several prominent positions, including President of the Student Council, CEO of the school’s annual theatrical program Drishtikon, Secretary General of the 2023 Model United Nations, and Student Representative of the School Innovation Council (a CBSE initiative).

His leadership prowess further earned him the title of Brand Ambassador for the Leaders of Tomorrow Program, where he was selected from over 500 students.

Now a student at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras), Anubhav continues to break new ground. He is also interning at IIT Bombay, contributing to an AI and data science-driven project. As the youngest person on the team, this is another feather in his cap as he blends technology with his passion for societal impact.

Anubhav’s message to other teenagers is simple yet impactful: “Follow your passions and chase every dream you have ever dreamt of.” He believes experimenting with passions is the only way to find a path that leads to ingenious experiences, which in turn shape our future.

When asked to choose between passions or career, his response was, “My passions will shape my career, and who says our trajectory has to be unilateral? We can always explore multiple directions to follow all our dreams.” This philosophy reflects his aspirations for the future.
